God only loves you if you whine and make fun of the secularism

Honestly, just because on the outside I look sweet and safe and girl next doory ...

... does NOT mean you have an open invitation to send me your Jesus chain emails filled with not-so-subtle hints suggesting that if I don't forward pedestrian God Pride! messages to everyone on my mailing list, my 'faith' in a 'moral' higher power is equivalent to that of THE DEVIL.

Come the fuck ON, people! That sense of superiority might have worked in the pre-christian Roman era when people were getting eaten by lion and tigers and bears (oh, my), but seriously, "Christians" kinda lost all moral credibility after Constantine decided that embracing God would be a good political move, then with his Nicene buddies became the Thought Police and set out to exterminate any unorthodox ideas with the invention of Satan and Hell.

I mean, you kinda had me there for a minute when you were getting all eaten by wild animals and stuff, but what was the first thing you did when you were no longer the scary subculture/cult? Oh, that's right! You turned the tables and started banning heterodoxy as heresy and began torturing pagans, the other scary subcultural cultish white meat. (Both of which are practices, by the way, that continued through the middle ages, through the Renaissance, through the Reformation, and even through to today in varying extents and under the cloak of various YHWH-centric religions.) Count it, Christians: That's SEVENTEEN HUNDRED YEARS of hypocrisy, dudes.

So please, spare me the, "Oh, it's so hard being Christian and having to censor who I add in the TO: field of this email. Woe is me, I'm so beleaguered by the unbelievers" crap. There may not be 72 virgins waiting for you (or maybe there will be), but you still have the power to completely ignore Jesus's message of Love by mucking it up with very anti-Christian self-aggrandizement (Pharisees!), and then villifying anyone who chooses to explore their spirituality and morality outside of the "Christian" dogma of thoughtless, one-dimensional herding set forth by two millennia of very human, very flawed Billy Grahams.
