I never did like mathematics

I have exactly X amount of dollars in my bank account currently. On my five year old computer, I still owe X-30 dollars. In four days, I will have X+X dollars in my account, and only X/2 in bills.

I'm thinking I will, somewhere in the next four days, be X dollars less in debt - bringing my total debt down by 20%.

If I continue the trend for five months, I will be completely out of debt. In seven months, theoretically, I could be the proud owner of something akin to a Geo Metro, and be just as in debt as I am today.

Math is both a wonderous and painful thing.
