Much ado about very little, if anything |

Met with the realtor today to discuss listing the house. Today was a sad, sad day in SBD-land.
In other news, last Thursday I met with the shrink doing the psych (is it Freudian that I just typed psycho?) and parenting evaluation for the foster care licensing to go over all the test results. Apparently, I am smart (spelled S-M-R-T) and have above-normal memory and cognitive skills. Go me? But, he assured me, I'm a bit on the low scale for disclosure. Why is that, he queried randomly as he proceeded to share the remainder of my results. Oh, here's why - you've scored 85 in the histrionic scale. That's in the Disorder range. That means you're either 1. In denial; 2. You're repressing your emotions; or 3. You're dissociating from your reality.
Lovely.
So would you like to wrap this up, pay me the remaining $500 for the tests, and ship these results off to the licensor? If not, you're always welcome to retake the tests. Now I'm not saying that you lied per se, but perhaps you didn't understand that it's OK to have a personality.
Again, and I reiterate, lovely.
Well, don't answer me now. Take the weekend to think about it. If you decide to retake the tests, I'll just bill that out to you, too.
Fuck me up and down a pole, thank you very much. Jesus and the little baby angels.
P.S. The bank says if I don't pay them three-months of back mortgage payments by December 18th, they're gonna begin foreclosing on the house.
But in better news, Mom said I could move in with her for a couple months until I find a new place.
But in even better news, I finished building the online employment application process at work and the bosses love it. The VP even told everyone at the three-day retreat that my proposal was amazing. I turned the finished product over to the Director today, and I'm ever so happy that I can chalk the project up to DONE. I'm tired of looking at it, frankly, and I have to begin the annual reviews for about 60 employees, three transcripts apiece, and I'm amazingly slow. Heh. Can't be good at everything, I suppose. But I do have another fun project on the horizon - building the training refresher courses for production and operations, which will be fun in all capital letters.
