It's all good.

Wah, nobody wants to talk with me! I don't know if my present situation has been too uncomfortable for people to come say hello, or if I'm just messed up and people are being nice and not coming to the guesbook or notes to tell me whatfor.

Anyway, I have excellent news, darlings. I'm gonna get my re-fi and it is OVER the TOP. My mortgage will go down by $1000 a month. I can't even begin to tell you how much that rocks, or how thrilled I am. This saves my ASS, darlings! I can work some easy overtime and have enough to even have some perks in my world.

Plus, I've talked to the fostering folks and am getting ready to go to an orientation in late March or early April. After that, within 90 days, I may be fostering. I may begin with respite care, which just means that I'll be taking kids in on weekends or short periods while their more permanent foster families are on vacation or taking some time off for whatever reason. After that, it may be more.

And Brazen Hussy has shared with me what I expected. Boss and VP have offered her a co-position with Princess. Good for her. She's gonna show Princess how it should be done. The thing that's exciting, though, is that Boss has talked with VP about ME taking the QC position that Hussy will be vacating. Hussy says Boss brought it up and is all over it. She hasn't talked to me about it, but Hussy says that Boss will be pounding VP to agree. If all goes well, I will be recruited for the QC position, in which I will be training staff, writing procedure, and maintaining various web pages. All the things I LOVE, darlings! Plus, it's basically an independent, unsupervised position with an office. I can have my own fica plant! Now QC does have it's drawbacks, such as dealing with dumb people extensively and actually having to tell people they suck at the job. However, I am a nice guy (well, girl) and have excellent diplomacy skillz, so maybe they won't hate me. Because secretly, you know, I hate it when people hate me. Bastards.

Other than that, I am very excited. Mr. T's family ASSURED me they were gonna be here this weekend to get his belongings and both his vehicles, which they for the second weekend in a row haven't done. Bailed x two. Monday is the arraignment, so I may actually hear from my advocate, who still hasn't responded to either of my emails. I figure if I don't see some action from Mr. Ts family shortly, I'm just gonna have to politely drop into the conversation that I will be calling a tow truck for his vehicles and pawning the rest of his belongings, such as he power tools. Mayhaps that will light a fire under their butts. I cannot begin fostering until his stuff is out of the spare room, so I won't be playing or coddling folks. His shit has to go.

Oh! And the plasma TV doesn't have to go, either. With the re-fi, we're cool. I can afford to make the payments. Which is very cool, because the salesman told us that in 2009, cable will be obsolete and everything is gonna go high-def. Which means that our regular TVs won't be able to receive signal unless we buy converters to old-ify the signal. Now I just can't see spending money on that nonsense. Better to upgrade now and be ready, you know?

And I am excitedly awaiting my landscaping materials. I cannot wait to spend lazy summer afternoons enjoying the breeze in a beautiful, landscaped and flowering yard. I want cut flowers and lovely sweet scents wofting on soft breezes. Doesn't that sound positively enchanting? I cannot wait!
